About William
William McLennan is a litigator at Affleck Greene McMurtry who appears at all levels of court and before various administrative tribunals in Ontario. His work covers complex civil and commercial disputes, including breach of contract, shareholder and fraud claims, negligence, real estate litigation, estate matters, and employment disputes for both employers and employees. Before joining AGM, he practised at one of Ontario's largest labour and employment boutiques, at a mid-sized litigation firm, and alongside a commercial litigator who is now his partner at AGM. He earned his JD from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2017, where he won the National Labour Arbitration Moot and received the Robert A. Samek Memorial Prize. William was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018. He volunteers as amicus curiae for the Commercial and Estates Lists at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and judges the Wilson Moot, and he belongs to the Advocates' Society and the Toronto Lawyers' Association.
