About William

William Humphrey is a partner at Humphrey Thomson Tuer, focusing on family law and collaborative approaches to separation and divorce. He negotiates separation agreements, cohabitation agreements, and marriage contracts, and has worked in alternative dispute resolution since law school in 2001. He chairs the Family Law Bar Association for both Grey County and Bruce County and is a past chair of the Collaborative Law Group of Grey/Bruce. He has taught negotiation and conflict resolution skills at the University of Toronto and University of Windsor law schools, and worked as a Toronto-based mediator and negotiation consultant before relocating to Bruce County. He previously worked as a Human Resources Specialist with Bruce Power and holds an Executive Master's degree in Human Resource Management.
