About Brian

Brian H. Renken has practised law for more than 40 years, primarily in civil and family law. He argues cases regularly in the Owen Sound, Walkerton and Collingwood courts and has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal on several occasions. He also maintains a general practice assisting clients with real estate, wills and estates. He joined the firm as an associate in 1983, the year he was called to the bar, and became a partner in 1988. He served as President of the Grey County Law Association from 1998 to 2000 and is a past president of the Grey Bruce Health Services Board of Directors and the Meaford Hospital Foundation. He was a member of the Canadian Olympic Wrestling Team in 1976 and 1980.
