About Jennifer

Jennifer Tuer is a partner at Humphrey Thomson Tuer, practising in business law, real estate, wills and estates, municipal law, employment law, and family law. She began her career in the energy law department of an international Toronto law firm, advising power plant developers, electricity utilities, and First Nations communities on regulatory matters. She relocated to Bruce County in 2008 to join Bruce Power's legal division, where she managed corporate contracts before leading a procurement team that oversaw a portfolio worth several hundred million dollars annually. She later returned to private practice, joining Ross Thomson in 2021 to form Thomson & Tuer, the firm's immediate predecessor. She serves as a board member of the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
