W. Joanne Horton is a partner of Horton & Horton in Owen Sound, continuing a family legal practice that began with her grandfather, R. Philip Horton, and was carried on by Edward (Ted) P. Horton, with whom she partnered in 2006. Since then she has practised civil, criminal and family litigation, as well as wills, estates, real estate, family, corporate and commercial law. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Grey Law Association, and the Grey-Bruce Collaborative Family Law Group, and a past member of the Toronto Lawyers' Association, the Ontario Trial Lawyers' Association, the Advocates' Society, and the Women Lawyers' Forum.
