About William

William Melnychuk practises real estate, family law, wills and estates, and estate litigation as the sole practitioner at Houghton, Sloniowski & Stengel in Welland. He was born and raised in the Niagara Region and returned to serve clients in his hometown. He has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminology from the University of Western Ontario in 2010, then attended the University of Newcastle Law School in New South Wales, Australia, in 2012. He was called as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2015 and was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2017.
