About Weinan
Weinan Wang advises employers on workplace law matters in both unionized and non-unionized settings, covering employment standards compliance, workplace policies, terminations, human rights concerns, executive compensation, workplace investigations, and collective agreement negotiation and administration. Before joining Hyde HR Law, he practiced at a Toronto employment and labour firm serving clients nationally. Earlier, Weinan was a lawyer in China, where he remains licensed, handling business law and dispute resolution work such as mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and contract and shareholder disputes in sectors including pharmaceuticals, commercial real estate, and clean energy. He is fluent in English and Mandarin. He holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School (2019), an LL.M. from the University of Montreal, and an LL.B. from Renmin University of China, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2020 after his 2010 call to the bar in mainland China.
