About Wai

Wai Cheung graduated from UBC Law in 1998 and was called to the bar in 1999. Before joining Cowley & Company he defended insurance carriers on casualty claims and coverage issues, and spent four years with a disability law firm fighting for clients' disability benefits and rights. He is now a managing partner at Cowley & Company, focusing on personal injury and disability insurance work, and has appeared before the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal, including some leading authoritative decisions, and assisted clients with CPP tribunal hearings and appeals. Cheung is a member of the Trial Lawyers' Association and has a particular interest in chronic pain cases.
