About Vincent

Vincent Li founded Virtus Counsel after practising as a courtroom lawyer and strategic advisor in commercial disputes and in-house roles. He was called to the bar in British Columbia and Alberta and has appeared before all levels of court in both provinces. After several years at a Calgary-area law firm, he served as General Counsel to a Greater Vancouver company with international operations, acting as legal department leader, litigator, and corporate advisor. He holds a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University, where he was an editor of the law journal, and a Bachelor of Science with a minor in Commerce from the University of British Columbia. He has chaired the national Law Students Section of the Canadian Bar Association and received the Law Foundation Public Interest Award.
