About Vanessa
Vanessa Petronilho is an associate at McNally Gervan Lawyers LLP, which she joined in 2023 to work closely with founding partner Frank McNally. She graduated from law school in 2024 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2025. Before law, she worked in social work, including as an addiction counsellor at the Dave Smith Centre Youth Treatment Centre and in mental health support at Notre Dame House, and she volunteers with the Ottawa Innocence Project and Pro Bono Students Canada. Her practice emphasizes advocacy for marginalized and vulnerable individuals within the justice system.
