Hana practices primarily in family law, including representing parents in child protection matters, and serves as a panel lawyer for the Office of the Children's Lawyer. She also represents clients before several administrative tribunals. She earned her law degree from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law in 1996 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1998. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and l'Association des juristes d'expression francaise de l'Ontario, and has served on the Board of Directors for Immigrant Women Services of Ottawa. Hana has also taught family law at Algonquin College. She practices in both English and French, and also speaks Urdu, Hindi, and Spanish.
