About Trevor

Trevor Morley is a co-founder and director of Morley Hanson Law Corporation, where he practises strata governance, risk management, dispute resolution (mediation and litigation), and major contract negotiation. He previously practised municipal law before focusing on strata law, and is a former Chartered Insurance Professional and graduate of the Insurance Institute of Canada's Risk Management Program. He co-authored the chapter on Strata Management in the British Columbia Strata Property Practice Manual published by the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia. Morley graduated from the University of Victoria Faculty of Law and worked for a year as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of British Columbia in Victoria. He served for several years as a Tribunal Member with the Employment and Assistance Appeal Tribunal and was a member of the BC Council of Administrative Tribunals. Before studying law, he was a commissioned officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, deploying twice to Bosnia-Herzegovina.
