About Toby

Toby joined Weir Bowen as an associate in 2025 after completing her summer and articling terms with the firm, including a judicial clerkship with the Alberta Court of Justice. She maintains a growing practice in medical malpractice and civil litigation, drawing on a background in biological sciences and forensic science to approach complex scientific issues. During law school she served as a Writing Fellow in the Legal Research and Writing Program at the University of Alberta. She belongs to the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.
