About Timothy

Timothy is a Cantonese and Mandarin speaking lawyer raised in Richmond, BC. During law school at UBC he worked with the Law Students' Legal Advice Program, rising from clinician to clinic head and eventually Publications Director, and won Best Direct- and Cross-Examination in the 2020 Peter Burns Moot while participating in the Criminal Law Clinic at the Peter A. Allard School of Law. He articled at a family and criminal law firm before being called to the bar in 2022, then spent more than three years in personal injury defence, including jury and non-jury trials in the BC Supreme Court. Timothy's practice now includes general civil litigation and family law.
