About Tim

Tim P. Star is an associate lawyer focusing exclusively on family law matters. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University and a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University, joining Solutions Family Law Group as an articling student in November 2015 and completing his articles there. He has successfully represented clients before the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia, including a five-day Supreme Court trial involving child relocation (CLP v DRP, 2017 BCSC 432), and volunteers representing clients involuntarily detained under the Mental Health Act.
