About Tim

Tim has spent almost 30 years practising exclusively as a solicitor, working in real estate, corporate, commercial financing and business law. His economics and business background gives him practical insight when helping clients buy or sell businesses, arrange financing, or purchase their first home. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with distinction from the University of Victoria in 1987, then completed a combined Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor at the University of British Columbia, graduating in 1991. He was admitted to the Law Society of British Columbia in 1992 and practised for several years in Prince Rupert before relocating to the Okanagan Valley in 2005. He is a member of Rotary International, having joined in 1994, and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association's British Columbia Branch with a focus on real property, banking and business law.
