About Tianyang

Tianyang (Peter) Min is a barrister and solicitor at MTY Law, practising real estate law and Canadian immigration law and offering notary public services. He earned his Bachelor of Law from Northwest A&F University in 2003 and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia in 2007, working in retail, wholesale, hotel, and banking across Canada and China before returning to law. Peter passed China's National Judicial Examination and articled at a major law firm in his hometown, practising family law, contract law, and traffic accident disputes before Basic and Intermediate People's Courts. In 2019 he obtained a regulated immigration consultant licence and worked for a Calgary immigration and law firm, before completing his NCA requirements and articling with a Calgary law firm. He became a member of the Law Society of Alberta in 2022 and offers services in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
