Kate Eseonu (Catherine) is a Senior Associate at Osuji & Smith practising immigration law, family law, real estate, and wills and estates, and is a private panel family lawyer with the Legal Services Board of Nunavut. Kate earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Linguistics from Abia State University in Nigeria in 1993, then an LL.B. from Rivers State University of Science and Technology in Port Harcourt in 2006, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2008 after completing the Nigerian Law School program in Enugu. After immigrating to Canada in 2009, Kate worked in child protection and social services before articling in Edmonton, and completed a Master's degree in Conflict Analysis and Management at Royal Roads University in 2021. Kate was called to both the Nunavut Bar and the Alberta Bar in 2022.
