About Thomas
Thomas Hynes earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Saskatchewan in 2012 and a Juris Doctor in 2015, and was called to the bar in 2016. He practised in Regina for several years before returning to Saskatoon to join Pfefferle Law in 2022, where he now focuses exclusively on criminal defence with an emphasis on criminal appeals. He regularly appears before the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan on matters involving conviction, sentence and Crown appeals, and has appeared several times at the Supreme Court of Canada for parties and interveners. Hynes also maintains a criminal trial practice across the province and sits on the faculty of the Law Society of Saskatchewan's Trial Advocacy Workshop, and he co-coaches the University of Saskatchewan's Gale Moot team with colleague Zachary Carter.
