About Thijiba

Thijiba holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law (2015) and also serves as a professor and program coordinator of the Family Legal Services Provider program at Fanshawe College. Her legal practice covers family law, domestic contracts, and estate matters, with a focus on trauma-aware and culturally informed approaches. Through Kaivani Consulting, she also designs workshops on topics including gender-based violence, anti-racism, and systemic barriers in the justice system.
