About Terry

Terry Leonard graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba in 1975 and was admitted to the bar in July 1976. He articled with Bennett Jones LLP in Calgary and practised there as an associate until 1979, gaining experience in residential and commercial real estate law and business law acting for developers, private individuals, and lenders. In 1979 he became a partner in Leonard and Dalton, a general practice with a focus on real estate and business transactions, before starting his own sole practice in 1982. His practice today concentrates on wills and estates, real estate, business transactions, and family law and related litigation, from his West Hillhurst, Calgary office, where he has practised since 1993.
