About Ted

Ted Brown is a partner at Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP focusing on securities and corporate law, including takeover bids, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and private equity. He co-leads BD&P's Business Law Group and serves as corporate secretary to several publicly traded energy companies. In 2006 Ted was seconded to the Alberta Securities Commission, where he worked on amendments to Canada's oil and gas reserve disclosure regime. His recent work includes advising Kiwetinohk Energy Corp., MEG Energy Corp., and Freehold Royalties Ltd. on major acquisitions and financings.
