About Tara
Tara Pandes is the managing lawyer at Odyssey Law, with roughly fifteen years of experience in litigation and immigration law, the last twelve years focused exclusively on immigration. She graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and a Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia, and was admitted to the Law Society of British Columbia in 2010 and the Law Society of Alberta in 2012. She has worked for large national firms in Vancouver and Calgary, at a community legal aid clinic in Guyana, and at the University of Cape Town's refugee rights project, and spent eight years as an immigration lawyer at Calgary Legal Guidance, a non-profit legal organization. She volunteers with pro bono initiatives in the Calgary area and serves on the executive of the Canadian Bar Association (Alberta) South Immigration Section.
