About Tara
Tara D. Pipella, K.C. leads Pipella Law, a Calgary firm that practices exclusively in personal injury law acting for plaintiffs. She has been listed in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory as a leading practitioner in Alberta personal injury litigation. Tara continues the practice built by her late father, Edward S. Pipella, Q.C., under whose tutelage she trained for about 20 years. She earned a Bachelor of Communications from the University of Calgary in 1989, a Bachelor of Education in 1991, and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours with Distinction from the University of Wales in Cardiff in 1997. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 1999 and has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta. She has volunteered with the Canadian Bar Association's Personal Injury Subsection and several disability and community organizations, including Spinal Cord Injury Alberta and the Southern Alberta Brain Injury Society.
