About Kristine

Hon. Kristine M. Eidsvik, K.C. offers private dispute resolution services in mediation, arbitration, med/arb, and strategic advice to counsel on ADR, trial, appeal, and corporate matters. She graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 1983 and practised civil litigation in Alberta for 23 years before being appointed Queen's Counsel in 2004. She served on the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta from 2007 to 2022, hearing criminal, family, civil, and wills and estates matters, conducting over a hundred Judicial Dispute Resolution hearings, and writing roughly 100 decisions. She is fluently bilingual in English and French and has lectured on commercial insolvency litigation, evidence, ADR techniques, and other subjects. Since starting her independent ADR practice in 2022, she has conducted over 100 mediations and served as an arbitrator in real estate, contract, and liability disputes.
