About Tanner

Kovacs is a partner on SB LLP's Civil Litigation team, called to the Alberta Bar in 2020 after earning a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University in 2018. Kovacs's practice covers civil litigation, condominium matters, land development and construction disputes, and human rights complaints, acting for commercial condominium owners, landowners, and construction companies. Kovacs has appeared before the Court of King's Bench of Alberta and the Supreme Court of British Columbia and has represented litigants at trial in the Alberta Court of Justice. While in law school, Kovacs won the David Strangio Moot in Canadian Constitutional Law, and Benchmark Litigation Canada named Kovacs a Future Star for 2025.
