About Tania

Tania Harper's practice focuses on child protection matters. Early in her career, Tania spent four years working as a lawyer for a local children's aid society, which gave her direct experience with how those agencies operate. Drawing on that background, she represents parents, grandparents, and other family members in child protection proceedings, including kinship applications for family members putting forward a plan of care for a child. She also assists foster parents with matters arising under the Child and Family Services Act and represents clients before the Child and Family Services Review Board, in addition to advising on voluntary agreements and other non-court involvement with children's aid societies.
