About Talvir

Talvir Minhas is an associate lawyer at Adept Family Lawyers, practising in family, criminal, and immigration law. Before joining the firm, she articled at a mid-size full-service firm in Calgary, where she appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan, and the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta. While in law school, she volunteered at a Miscarriages of Justice Pro Bono Clinic, offering legal services to individuals falsely accused in criminal matters. Minhas earned her LL.B. from the University of Leicester in 2020 and a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Mount Royal University in 2018. She was called to the Alberta bar in 2022 and is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Canadian Bar Association.
