About Banke

Banke Adediran is the principal lawyer at Adept Family Lawyers, practising exclusively in family law with an emphasis on matrimonial property, domestic violence, custody, and child and spousal support. She was called to the bar in Alberta in 2010, having earlier been called to the bar in Nigeria in 2005. Adediran holds an LL.B. (Honours) from Obafemi Awolowo University and an LL.M. from Dalhousie University, obtained in 2007. Since becoming certified to represent children in 2018, she has represented children in high-conflict family law matters. She is a practising mediator and was appointed King's Counsel in 2024. Adediran is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, and several family law and women lawyers' associations.
