About Talia

Talia Profit, KC is a partner in Cox & Palmer's Moncton office and conducts her litigation practice in both English and French. She articled with Barry Spalding in 2005 and remained there as an associate until joining Cox & Palmer in 2013, and holds the King's Counsel designation. Talia's practice focuses on civil litigation, particularly medical malpractice defence, class actions, personal injury and property damage, and she has appeared at all levels of the New Brunswick courts as well as the Supreme Courts of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. She earned degrees in neuroscience and French from Dalhousie University before completing her LL.B. at Université de Moncton. Talia has presented widely to legal and medical audiences on litigation and risk mitigation, and serves as treasurer of the Canadian Bar Association, New Brunswick.
