About Sylvia
Sylvia Mills represents the fifth generation of the Mills family to practice at Mills & Mills, a firm founded in 1884, of which her great-great-grandfather Alexander Mills, K.C., was one of the founders. She joined the firm's Wills and Estates Group as an associate in 2025, focusing on estate planning and administration and aiming to provide clear, practical solutions tailored to each client's needs. Sylvia earned her law degree from Toronto Metropolitan University's Lincoln Alexander School of Law in 2025, and before that worked part-time at a boutique firm and as a summer student at Emond Publishing. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from McMaster University and a Graduate Diploma in Publishing from Centennial College, and previously worked as a Park Naturalist with Ontario Parks and on the Cancer Information team at the Canadian Cancer Society.
