About Susan
Susan G. Tataryn is the founder of Tataryn Law and has advised businesses in healthcare, technology, life sciences, and creative industries for over 25 years. She earned a Bachelor of Commerce in 1987 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1992, both from the University of Saskatchewan, and completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course in 1996 and the Institute of Corporate Directors program at the Rotman School in 2020. She was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 1993 and the Ontario bar in 2000. Her practice centres on corporate and personal tax matters, including business sales and purchases and investment structuring, and she has appeared before Canadian courts on tax and GST cases, including Hansen v. The Queen and the Brogan Family Trust rectification proceedings.
