About Susan
Susan E. Latta holds a B.Sc. in Audiology (cum laude) from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Western Ontario and an LL.B. from Western University, and is registered with the Law Society of Ontario as a Barrister, Solicitor and Notary. Before pursuing law, Latta practiced as a Clinical Audiologist at University Hospital in London for 17 years, and in 1996 established a consulting partnership serving as an Educational Audiology consultant for two school boards until 2003. After being called to the Bar in 2007, Latta joined Community Legal Services at Western University Faculty of Law as Review Counsel while maintaining a private practice. As of July 2018, the practice is home-office based and expanding into Elder Law, covering Wills & Estates (drafting, Powers of Attorney, executor assistance), Civil Litigation and Small Claims Court, and Elder Law (healthcare, long-term care, capacity, and abuse issues).
