About Stuart

Stuart is the CEO and Managing Partner of Fillmore Riley LLP, with 30 years of experience in insurance law. He represents Canadian, American and London-based insurers as defence, subrogation and coverage counsel, across commercial liability insurance, large-loss construction claims, aviation law, professional errors and omissions insurance, and complex coverage disputes. He has appeared at all levels of court in Manitoba and other provinces, and has extensive alternative dispute resolution experience. Stuart is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has held leadership roles including president of the Winnipeg Humane Society and a Manitoba Bar Association council member.
