Steven Brennan has practiced law for more than three decades, advocating for individual, corporate, and institutional clients at trial and appellate levels. His work spans criminal defence along with select civil and regulatory litigation, and he has appeared before all levels of court in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Ontario, as well as the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Canada. He has argued numerous jury trials, including several complex and high-profile homicide cases, and also advises individual and corporate clients on contract, employment, estate, and tort-related disputes. He appears regularly before tribunals and disciplinary bodies on behalf of members of regulated professions. Brennan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Manitoba in 1986 and his law degree in 1989, and was called to the Manitoba Bar in 1990. He is a member of the Law Society of Manitoba, the Canadian Bar Association, the Manitoba Bar Association, the Advocates' Society, and the Criminal Defense Lawyers Association of Manitoba.
