About Steve

Steve Jamael graduated from Dalhousie University in 2016, was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2017, and has practiced in his hometown of Sydney ever since as owner and principal lawyer of Steve Jamael Law Inc. He has appeared in contested hearings across Nova Scotia's court system, including the Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court's General and Family Divisions, Provincial Court, Small Claims Court, Probate Court, Domestic Violence Court, and Youth Justice Court, with more than 30 recorded decisions. His practice covers civil litigation, criminal law, family law, property law, wills and estates, and motor vehicle accidents, and since 2018 he has volunteered at the Free Legal Clinic at the Sydney Courthouse.
