About Stephanie
Stephanie Di Federico has practised family law exclusively since her call to the Ontario Bar in 2005, handling property division and equalization, custody and access, and spousal and child support, including matters involving high net worth clients and complex finances. She drafts and negotiates pre-nuptial agreements, marriage contracts, and cohabitation agreements, and has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Court of Justice in several jurisdictions, including a successful, precedent-setting appeal to the Divisional Court. She has served as a panelist for the Newmarket Superior Court's Mandatory Information Program and regularly uses mediation and negotiated settlements to resolve cases. Stephanie earned a Specialized Honours degree in psychology from York University and her law degree from the University of Western Ontario, and articled at a large Toronto firm before joining Bortolussi Family Law.
