About Piruthika
Piruthika Selvashandren completed her Bachelor of Laws at Queen Mary University of London and later earned her Master of Laws at Osgoode Hall Law School before being called to the bar. Her interest in family law grew during a five-month placement at Brampton Superior Court through the Pro Bono Students Canada Family Law Project while she was completing her graduate studies. She articled at a boutique firm in Brampton and later practiced at a firm in North York, gaining broad experience in family law matters. Her practice now covers decision-making responsibility, parenting time, child and spousal support, and property division. She is fluent in Tamil in addition to English.
