About Stacey

Stacey Edzerza Fox is a member of the Tahltan Nation and a legal advocate for Indigenous rights with more than twenty years of experience working with and for First Nations to protect and advance their inherent, constitutional, and human rights. She works with First Nations on self-determination and self-government, government-to-government relations and decision-making, and resource development and economic benefit agreements, including addressing referral and regulatory processes and aligning Crown law and policy with international human rights standards. Fox is also a member of her family's governance structure, one of ten families participating in the Tahltan Central Government, which supports the exercise of Tahltan title and rights in unceded Tahltan territory. She practises through Stacey Edzerza Fox Law Corporation in West Vancouver, British Columbia.
