About Sorel
Sorel Leinburd is a business lawyer with more than 25 years of experience in corporate law, intellectual property, and commercial and transactional matters. He graduated from the University of British Columbia's law school in 1987 and was called to the bar in British Columbia in 1988, articling and practicing at a mid-size downtown Vancouver firm early in his career in public securities, corporate, commercial, real estate, litigation, computer, immigration, and intellectual property law. From 1989 to 1991 he worked in Hong Kong with an international business group on commercial ventures across Asia and North America, and in 1992 he established an independent business law practice in Vancouver. Since 1994 he has practiced with colleagues under what is now Kerr Redekop Leinburd, a focused business boutique firm. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Manitoba.
