Sonia Gill-Kahlon

About Sonia

Sonia Gill-Kahlon is the founder of SGK Law and practises as a Barrister and Solicitor focusing on criminal defence and family law. Before entering the legal profession she worked in mental health, which gave her a particular perspective on the intersection between mental health and the criminal justice system. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminology from the University of the Fraser Valley and a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University, and articled at a downtown Vancouver law firm specializing in criminal law and driving law. She has appeared before the British Columbia Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and is active in charitable causes in the Fraser Valley community.
