About Simon

Simon Brick is an associate lawyer at Davidson Houle Allen LLP. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, graduating with honours, and worked as a Writing Leader with the university's Legal Writing Academy and volunteered with its Indigenous Human Rights Program. He completed his articles focusing on civil litigation at a small Ottawa firm, handling Small Claims Court and Landlord and Tenant Board matters, and briefly ran his own practice on contractual disputes, consumer protection and housing matters before joining DHA. He volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario's Free Legal Advice Hotline. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of Arizona (2016) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa (2023), and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024.
