About Sima
Sima Hashemi is an associate at McCarthy Hansen & Company who began her legal education with an LL.B and LL.M from Allameh Tabatabei University in Tehran, Iran. She spent five years as a law clerk at the firm starting in 2017 before completing a Global Professional Master of Laws at the University of Toronto in 2021. She articled with the firm in 2022-23 and was called to the bar in 2023. Sima now practices family law, bringing a compassionate approach to clients facing emotionally difficult situations and working to give them thoughtful, practical representation.
