About Sierra

Sierra Yanush has practiced exclusively in family law since being called to the Alberta bar in 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with honours in philosophy from Queen's University, a Master of Arts in philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary. She is a trained mediator through the Alberta Family Mediation Society and an arbitrator through the National Family Law Arbitration Course, and offers reduced-rate mediation and arbitration services. She was named 'One to Watch' in family law by Best Lawyers: Canada in 2024, and in family law and family law arbitration in 2025, and has served on the Canadian Bar Association's Family Law Alberta South executive since 2020 and on its Alberta Board of Directors since 2024.
