About Catherine
Catherine E. Fox was called to the Alberta Bar in 1989 and articled at the City of Calgary Law Department. She earned a B.A. in Political Science and her law degree from the University of Calgary, and was appointed Queen's Counsel in March 2020. Fox practices family law and wills and estates, handling divorce, child custody and support, property division, and separation agreements. She has trained as a mediator and as a Collaborative Law lawyer and is working toward arbitration training. She represents children in family law proceedings and continues to accept Legal Aid referrals for child-related matters. Fox volunteers with the Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter, Calgary Legal Guidance, and the Women's Centre, and serves as a Dispute Resolution Officer.
