About Shimon

Shimon focuses his practice on family law and estate planning, along with related areas such as wills and estates, tax and contracts. He earned his Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Manitoba in 2015 and has been with the firm for more than ten years. In law school he won the Region 7 Law Student Negotiation Competition, the American Bar Association's National Law Student Negotiation Championship, and the International Law Student Negotiation Championship in Dublin, the first team representing Canada to win that event. Shimon completed intensive collaborative law training in the spring of 2017 and applies those skills to help clients reach settlements outside of litigation. He also assists clients with wills, powers of attorney and health care directives, and with drafting pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements.
