About Mona

Mona has provided legal services to rural Manitobans and Winnipeggers for more than 20 years. Originally from rural Ontario, she completed post-secondary studies in business and marketing and worked for an international marketing company in Toronto before moving to Manitoba to pursue a legal career, beginning her studies in 1993 with an undergraduate focus on political studies and psychology. She graduated from the University of Manitoba's law school in 1997 and has practised as an attorney since 1998, working alongside her brother Marcel Jodoin for close to 15 years. Mona opened a branch office in Lorette in 2012 and started her own firm, the Mona Jodoin Law Corporation, in 2013, which now operates as Oak Island Law with offices in Steinbach and Ile des Chenes and a satellite office in Lac du Bonnet. Her practice covers subdivisions, estate planning and administration, real estate, mortgages and corporations.
