About Shawn

Shawn R. Dempsey has practiced law in Moncton since joining Actus Law Droit as a partner in 2007. His practice is mainly in corporate and commercial matters, including incorporations, reorganizations, and asset and share purchases and sales, along with residential and commercial real estate and estate and succession planning. He graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Laws in 1994 and was admitted to the New Brunswick bar in 1995, after earning a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa. He chairs the Law Society of New Brunswick's Property Law Advisory Committee and previously chaired its Real Property Practice Review Committee, and has lectured on corporate/commercial law and wills/probate for the Law Society's bar admission course.
