Shaun Cody founded New Horizon Law Corporation and is a registered trademark agent in Canada. He's a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Law Society of British Columbia, the College of Patent Agents and Trademark Agents (CPATA), the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, and the International Wine Law Association. Shaun practices intellectual property and commercial litigation, including patent infringement matters, trademark and trade name disputes, copyright litigation, and cases involving misappropriation of confidential information and trade secrets. His trademark agent work covers drafting, filing, and prosecuting trademark applications and representing clients in opposition proceedings, and he has obtained injunctive remedies including Anton Piller, attachment, and preservation orders. He has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta and the Federal Court, and has made written submissions to the Supreme Court of Canada.
