Sharyl earned a Bachelor of Arts in Pure Mathematics and Political Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2004 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick in 2007, and was called to the bar in Newfoundland and Labrador in 2008.
